The Electronic Health Record Trainer is responsible for education and training to clinical users. The ideal candidate will organize and assure that training is provided to the clinical staff at specifically defined intervals on an initial and ongoing basis. He or she will evaluate and assess the ability of the end user to utilize the field devices and makes recommendation for remedial training that may need to occur. The individual will coordinate with Hospice and Home Health Management and the Education Department to assure that training and staff are coordinated. This individual also performs other duties as assigned consistent with skills and training for this position in alignment with the goals and mission of Pathways Home Health & Hospice.



  • Healthcare clinician (RN, PT, OT, ST) with experience utilizing the EMR System EPIC or non-clinician with formal EPIC training.
  • Demonstrated ability to educate and train professional staff.
  • Demonstrated project management experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred.
  • Knowledge of PC hardware/tablet laptops preferred.
  • Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) preferred.
  • Prior clinical software implementation experience is a plus.
  • General understanding of services management related to the healthcare industry, preferably home health experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Exhibits leadership amongst colleagues by looking for opportunities to enhance the Electronic Health Record system.
  • Must exhibit a high level of initiative, accuracy, and self-direction.
  • On-Call: Every other week, 24 hours/day, including weekends.
